Manhunt Guide¶
Sets¶
In manhunt, you usually only need four ability sets. You can use the last slot for whatever you want.
It's important to remember that firecrackers and offensive smoke bomb are banned.
Offense¶
Luckily, you only need one offense set. You're not dying during this round, so just adjust between games.
Abilities¶
- Long lasting knives
- Rapid reload disguise
Disguise grants a hidden, so it's used purely for points, not stealth.
Perks¶
- Silent hunt
- Resistance
Streaks¶
- 5 silent kills +750
- Reset cooldowns OR score x2
If you can manage to use score x2, the game is likely lost, anyway. Reset cooldowns is gonna be more useful overall. When you have resets, successful disguise kills still reset the disguise's cooldown.
Defense 1¶
This is usually your main set. Use this at 0, 2, 3, and 4 deaths.
Abilities¶
- Long lasting mute OR strong mute
- Long lasting smoke bomb
Perks¶
- Wall runner
- Overall cooldowns
Streaks¶
- 3 silent kills +300
- Reset cooldowns
Defense 2¶
This is your cooldown set after your first death to reset your mute's cooldown. If you didn't use mute in your first life, don't use this.
Abilities¶
- Rapid reload morph OR rapid reload decoy
- Long lasting smoke bomb
Perks¶
- Wall runner
- Overall cooldowns
Streaks¶
- 3 silent kills +300
- Reset cooldowns
Defense 3¶
This is your boost cooldowns set for later in the round. Boost cooldowns does not reset cooldowns, but lowers them significantly. This set is not worth using in the last 30 s of the round. If you died your 5th death while muting, do not switch to this immediately, as your mute will have its full cooldown.
Abilities¶
- Long lasting mute OR strong mute OR rapid reload mute
- Long lasting smoke bomb
Rapid reload mute's cooldown is 3 s lower, so it's usually worth going with.
Perks¶
- Wall runner
- Overall cooldowns
Streaks¶
- 3 silent kills +300
- Boost cooldowns
